Feng Shui aspects for December—Disclaimer: These aspects are strictly the opinion, research, and observations of Mary Shurtleff and are no way to be used as fact but only insight. Use you own common sense to discover what is right for you.

 

Almost to the Calendar New Year, 2010. Can you believe it? This year has flown by and not just for me but also for others, who have felt like they were surfing on fire being pulled in so many directions with so many changes. Changes of jobs, residences, family (lots of celebrations and endings), and attitudes.

 

If you recall Uranus, the planet of rebellion, turned direct on December 1^st. Uranus is retrograde for more than five months out of the year. This direct movement of Uranus will free you from those things that have been restraining you. You will no longer feel the desire to live within conventional way if they are not working for you. With this influence, we may see again changes of job, residences, family, and attitudes.  If you recall Uranus rules electricity or electromagnetic energy and creates that chaos of a lightening storm in order to clear the air. Once the air is cleared and refreshed, new pathways are blazed. Independence thinking and freedom are heightened in the New Calendar Year.

This influence will also be present during the Chinese New Year, which arrives on February 14, 2010, when the Golden Tiger appears. The Golden Tiger will arrive with an entrance fitting of the Tiger. The Tiger is steely, independent, confident, stealth, quick,  and powerful. The golden or metal tiger will be sharp, courageous, determined, and prefers to work hunt alone. This can make 2010 a tumultuous year with rebellion emerging bringing with it chaos and confusion. Things may turn on a dime with the quickness of the Tiger energy.  The Tiger will roar and be heard.  Remember to look into the eye of the Tiger. What do you see in the EYE of the TIGER—it will be the reflection of you. Will the tiger eat you or will you ride the back of the Tiger. The Tiger's influence will offer courage, bold actions and risk taking to achieve your goal of independence and the right to live your life the way you wish.

 

This will give way to the beginning of the New World Consciousness. People will begin to think for themselves, not blindly following government, religion, or society’s rules. We will see more rioting and backlash against establishment.  We will see people, who have blindly followed in the past, questioning authority.

 

The New World Consciousness of 2012 is not the end of the world, but the beginning. I have to laugh when I see people panicking over the demise of the world. The 2012 will be a change in world consciousness from the patriarchal control and conquer approach to a more intellectual, maternal approach based upon intuition, spirituality, and compassion. It will be the beginning of man finding his own power of being connected to Cosmos force or God. It will also signify the return of the woman as a Goddess. Women around the world are already feeling the new energy and are aggressively starting to reject oppression at any cost. They are stepping up and into their power.  

 

The one true Spirit of God will be felt and the false prophets and institution will have to adjust or fall. The fear, guilt,  and shadows of doubt will no longer work as the key to control. People have moved beyond that limitation.

 

A new impendence can emerge but probably not without the tenacity of the Tiger. The tiger is feminine energy in the Chinese Form School feng shui so with that we will see women emerging fast and hard.  If the trend does continue we could see a woman in the White House in 2012.

 

In this revelation of World Consciousness,  wo/man will take on her/his own power  of deeper thinking to be able to take the steps needed  for  her/him self to manifest all that he desires. But there will be a tricky part. With the thought continuum of collective consciousness the force of good vs. evil will struggle. It is important to always focus on the positive because the negative is definitely easier to manifest. It is easier to be angry and fight for war instead of being vulnerable and patient  and press forward  for peace. The Metal Gold element of tiger will bring logic, discipline, and tenacity to accomplish your goals. Be diligent-be wise.

 

The Metal Tiger will be a year of personal independence and freedom. However with independence and freedom comes responsibility and accountability. Those who have prepared will prosper. Those who have been co-dependent or victims of their own doing will struggle with the idea of taking responsibility without blaming others.  The year of Tiger will expose those weaknesses, bring them to light, and make them accountable whether they wish to be or not. It is a year of reckoning for all of those who have been manipulated or felt controlled by others.  Balance can be found. The struggle may come to an end, if that is what they  wish.

 

For the month of December, the #4 of prosperity, romance and opportunity flies to the center of the home this month. Place 4 bamboos in the center of your home to enhance  prosperity.  You may also place crystals in this sector for travel and study luck. For romantic luck in your home place your peach blossom animal here. If your year animal is a rat, dragon, or monkey, place a golden rooster; if you are a tiger, horse, or dog, place a green rabbit ;  if you are a snake, ox, or rooster, place a red horse; If you are a rabbit, sheep, or pig, place a blue rat.

 

The #5 of instability moves to the NW of the father, Dog, and Pig this month joining the annual star of #1 career, possibly  bringing instability to career.  The #5 of instability is not always a bad thing. It sometimes forces the change of things that we are procrastinating about  but  know that we need to change. The #5 pushes it to happen so new opportunity can be exposed. Place salt water in this area. Place your wealth deities in NW to stabilize career.  Also be careful of health when the #5 appears. Place your metal wu-luo in this area especially if your bedroom resides  here. Place a  Longevity God in this area of Heaven of the NW to keep good health flowing.

 

The #6 of power and authority moves to the West  of the Rooster.  This symbol of power and authority may activate the male’s needs for ideas of war. The West Wing of the White House and the symbol of the Eagle  (Rooster) indicate that the United States will be involved more deeply in war this month. We may see more aggression with weapons and war like behavior this month. Place still water to calm any male aggressive behavior in the home as well as  a prayer  for the safety of the troops and for a solution to find world peace.

To activate your personal authority and power place 6 Chinese coins in the west with small water. This will activate windfall luck. If you home faces west, place it at the front door.

 

The #6  pairs with the #2 of illness and weakens the  #2 of illness aspect. However, be sure to leave all annual adjustments in place.

 

The nasty #7 of instability flies to the NE of the Ox and Tiger and meets the #3 of conflict. Place  the color blue or a moving water feature in this area to weaken the metal sword of the #7.  If you home faces the NE use the moving water at your front door, to the left side as you are looking out.  Leave a light on in the NE sector of your home to calm the clash of the #3 wood and the #7 metal. Also be sure to place the Red Buddha in the NE to symbolize happy home and good fortune.

 

For conflict issues or lawsuits, write on a blue piece of paper, “ I pray for a quick resolution to all conflicts this month. I pray that all legal situations be solved to my highest good.” Place this blue paper in the West under a bowl of WATER!!! 

 

The Ox and Tiger need to be especially careful of burglary. Do not walk alone at night, lock your doors, and be aware of your surrounding. Carry the Tui Sai amulet with you for protection. Also place a Blue Rhino at your front door or in your car.  Be careful of saying and doing the wrong thing this month. Use water to calm. Don’t make yourself a target.

 

The #8 of money flies to the South of the Horse bringing money luck to the horse and South facing home. Place a moving water feature in the South of the home to enhance and encourage money to arrive. With the #4 and #8 combination, there is a chance of literary success and completion. Place 4 lucky bamboos in this area as well.

 

The #9 Star flies to the North of the rat  this month where the #5 annual of instability reside for the year. This enhances the #5. Because of the #5, place peacock feathers to protect you and your home. Make sure your annual salt water cure is active and full. If it is looking yucky, toss it and make a new one. Salt is cheap. If you house faces North, I always recommend a salt line at the front door.  The #5 brings health issues so be careful of kidney, bladder, stomach and blood pressure or heart  issues this month.  Place the wu-luo to protect health. 

 

The Southwest  is the luckiest sector of the home this month. The #1 of career flies into the SW of Woman, Sheep and Monkey. The #6 of the annual star is still powerful in this area, so be sure to have your 6 Chinese coins or metal coins already in place with a moving water feature. If your home faces the SW put water at your front door with the coins in it.   Place a laughing Buddha in the Southwest to welcome in the prosperity and remind you to laugh as you are enjoying your bounty.

 

The #2 of illness flies to the  East of rabbit.  Place the wu-luo or calabash in this area this month. Pregnant woman and elderly woman should take care in this sector this month. Eat right, exercise and get your rest. Wear magnetic hematite or tourmaline to protect the body.

 

Remember the East Rabbit also has the three killings in this area. Place extra wood and water to buffer the three killings.   Make sure your ki-luns are placed properly. Be careful of your limbs, muscles, and nerves.  Liver may also be affected. Place a bowl of water and blue soap in the East to weaken this aspect. Keep all lighting, noise, and movement minimal this month. Place a blue rhinoceros in this area if possible.

 

To buffer the #7 for conflict issues or lawsuits, write on a blue piece of paper, “ I pray for a quick resolution to all conflicts this month. I pray that all legal situations be solved to my highest good.” Place this blue paper in the East under a bowl of WATER!!! 

 

The rabbit may feel especially vulnerable this month emotionally as  well as physically.   Wear magnetic hematite, labrodorite, or kyanite to push back energy from your body. Always focus on the goal. Be in the now!!  Don’t get distracted by other people’s drama. Place a rooster in the East to deflect gossip and tongue wagging.

 

The #3 of conflict flies into South East of the Dragon and Snake this month.  Remember conflict is a catalyst of change so embrace it if it should occur. Place a red Buddha in the Southeast to remind you of peace, joy, and good fortune. Added lighting in this area helps to shed the light on situations of conflict. Also place a raw crystal in this area to activate the subconscious mind and its depths of wisdom.

Here we are again, the beginning of another month—WOW-- is it just me or is time flying by??? I can’t seem to keep up with all I need to do.

That dog gone #5 star of instability, last month, in my Snake wreaked havoc on my health, nervous system and emotions. Because I am so right brain thinking about faith and natural healing, I got paranoid and wondered if perhaps I did need to think left brained and see a medical doctor in case something was indeed wrong. Well, I had a battery of blood tests done and an acuscan done and guess what—I have the blood work of 15 years old and my acuscan showed nothing except a lesion on my thyroid.  I had an ultra sound done on my thyroid and they found nothing worth worrying about. They want me to retest in 6 months, but said it seems to be a normal abnormal. (Whatever that means??) So after thousands of dollars worth of tests, I came up healthy!!  Thank God, however, that darn #5 was playing with my head and made me question what I already did know. Once my emotional mind went out of balance, everything else went out of balance—physically, mentally, and spiritually.

I seconded guessed myself all month long. Finally I am feeling somewhat in control again, whatever that means!! However, in hypnosis, we call confusion good because it means the belief system is challenged and when the belief system is challenged is when change does occur. It means that perhaps the way I was doing things was not getting me the best results. I did make some huge strides last months in attitude and boundary setting.  I felt like I had one nerve left and when someone stepped on it, there was no holding back. I let my emotions fly on a few occasions and found people started to respect my stance on a subject. Those that did not see my value seem to have been removed from my life and I have not even missed them. Needless to say, it wasn’t pretty.  I decided to lie low the last two weeks of the month because I seemed to have the right to remain silent, just not the ability. Last month was a tricky one for me-glad it is over and onward!!

The warning to this being: That darn #5 moves to the center this month causing instability in all aspects of life this month, especially health. It joins the already #9 star of expansion, so it will be more powerful than usual. Since the #9 is associated with health and blood, take care with added stress this month Place salt water cures and water in the center of your home and business this month to stabilize. Also, take more baths and swimming this month to relax the raw nerves. However, stay honest and true to yourself. No one else will, if you don’t set those boundaries. I found that out myself last month.  I feel more grounded and focused than I have in a long time. The #5 of instability is not always a bad thing. It sometimes forces the change of things that we are procrastinating about and know that we need to change.

The #6 of power and authority moves to the NW of the patriarch and Dog and Pig. This symbol of power and authority may activate the male’s needs for ideas of war. We may see more aggression with weapons and war like behavior this month, as Fort Hood already exhibited. Use still water to calm any male aggressive behavior in the home. 

However, the good part of this aspect is that it pairs with the #1 of career and becomes very powerful when applied for the correct reasons. And yes, I am saying the war reasons are not the best intentions. Stay in the light. Karma bites back!! Place moving water in this sector to activate career promotions or moves.  You may also place 6 Chinese coins or the gold Sacajawea coins in this area as well. The statues of Fuk, Luk, and Sau may also be placed here this month. The Dog and Pig should be very successful this month in career if their cards are played right. Pay attention to opportunity and allow fear to fade into the sunset.

The nasty #7 of instability flies to the West of the Rooster with the already #2 star of illness. We careful of accidents and violence in the West. If your bedrooms are in this sector of your home, place the salt water cures under the bed to weaken the energy.  If your bedrooms are not located in this area, place the color blue or a moving water feature in this area to weaken the metal sword of the #7.  If you home faces the West, use the moving water at your front door, to the left side as you are looking out.

For conflict issues or lawsuits, write on a blue piece of paper, “ I pray for a quick resolution to all conflicts this month. I pray that all legal situations be solved to my highest good.” Place this blue paper in the West under a bowl of WATER!!! 

The good news is that the #2 and #7 is a Ho Tu combination for business ideas and creativity. Place a rooster in the west for successful closure to the deals and signing papers. Also, place business intentions in this area this month.

The West energy could go either way this month, be prepared for both.

The Ho-Tu Combination of 3-8 flies to the NE of the Ox and the Tiger this month. Great money opportunities and business dealing. Again, use moving water and citrine to activate. Life is good this month for the Ox and Tiger and those who live in NE facing homes.

The Ho-Tu combination of 4-9 flies to the South of the Horse. This is good for writing, directing, and studies. Place 4 bamboos in still water in this area to balance the wood and fire heat.  Enjoy!! Life will move fast this month if you reside in or face the South. Be careful of the wood/fire combo of too much fire—use small water to cool.

The #1 Star flies to the North this month where the #5 annual of instability reside for the year. Because of the #5, place peacock feathers to protect you and your home. Lift the energy of the #1 of the North with a tortoise, fish, or water feature. You may also use small sound this month such as a small metal wind chime or Llama bells to offset the #5 chi. Make sure your annual salt water cure is active and full. If it is looking yucky, toss it and make a new one. Salt is cheap. If you house faces North, I always recommend a salt line at the front door.

The #2 of illness flies to the Southwest of woman, sheep, and monkey. Place the wu-luo or calabash in this area this month. Pregnant woman and elderly woman should take care in this sector this month. Eat right, exercise and get your rest. Place a blue rhinoceros in this area if possible.

The term peach blossom is used to enhance love activity. Too much peach blossom can result in sex or extramarital affairs, so one needs to be careful how it is applied.

If your year animal is a rat, dragon, or monkey, place a golden rooster in the west. If you are a tiger, horse, or dog, place a green rabbit in the east. If you are a snake, ox, or rooster, place a red horse in the south. If you are a rabbit, sheep, or pig, place a blue rat in the north. However, have your sexual relations in the SE. 

You may also activate the peach blossom by placing rose quartz, a pink rotating crystal, pink lotus, pairs of birds such as ducks or lovebirds, and pink peony flowers in your bedroom or peach blossom direction.

I want to remind you all that Uranus being is still in retrograde until December 1^st bringing unexpected news and developments.  Go back and read the July post for further info.

On October 13, Jupiter, the planet of luck, grace, favor and fortune, which has been retrograde since June 15, begin moving forward again. Since Jupiter brings abundance and prosperity, you may have felt the hold back of money and successes during that time. The world should start seeing prosperity moving forward again in a civilized manner. Jupiter also governs that which brings us happiness, as well, as how challenging our life journey may be.  Focus on the positive. Jupiter will bring it to you.

On October 29, Saturn, the planet of discipline, moved from Virgo into Libra impacting our relationships and love life. For the next three years the focus of relationship energy will be towards balancing peace, honesty and compassion in our lives. Saturn in Libra will break up relationships that are no longer working and create those that will. You will discover your self worth and find peace and harmony in your life. You will hear of many breakups but many marriages as well during this time period. Marriages during this time should be based on honesty and respect. If not, they will not survive.  This will also apply to politics and what is happening now in the world with the jockeying of power and position is destined to happen to bring about change and eventually peace. This is an excellent time for our world to come to terms with each other.

The planet Neptune of Spirit and Faith, retrograde since May 28 turned direct on November 4^th. This planet controls our dreams, imagination, spirituality, but also our delusions, confusions, and addictions. Neptune can dissolve our limitations and lead us to a higher purpose or spiral us to the depths of despair. The retrograde period was a time to escape from real life and reflect upon ‘what was’ instead of ‘what is’. Anxiety, depression, and addictions may have set in. Neptune in retrograde connected us to our emotions and spirit of our regrets and what if’s. Now that it has becomes direct it will ask us to implement the required changes that the reflections of confusion and regrets brought to life. This is a time to act upon past regrets with clarity. It helps us break our programming, which keep us stuck in the past.  Set and focus on the goals of what you want in your life.

All in all, this is a good time to implement change and get rid of anything or anyone not working in your best interest. It is a time to move forward into your dreams. If you can dream it-you can be it!!! God will show you the way if you just ask.

Utah Woman Wants to Feng Shui the White House

Author and interior designer, Mary Shurtleff, says that many of Obama's problems may be caused by the bad Feng Shui of the Oval Office

 

Draper, UT, October 21, 2009 -- President Obama won his campaign for President on the platform of change, but he inherited enormous problems from the last administration: a devastating recession, two wars, and a great ideological divide that has become a fierce battle in town halls, the halls of Congress and in the media.  According to Mary Shurtleff, owner of Design Wisdom in Draper, UT and author of two books about Feng Shui, The Alchemy of Quantum Mind Feng Shui and Reconnecting Your Spirit: Seeing the Possibilities, President Obama is going to have a much harder time accomplishing his goals, resolving his problems and uniting the country if he doesn't first do some redecorating.

"Each president, since 1933, has deposited his energy, thoughts, and behaviors in the Oval Office. Energy of every war, every success, every friend, every foe, and every negotiation is embedded in its walls, floors, and ceilings," says Shurtleff.  She recommends an energy clearing after every president leaves office or no real change can occur.  "The feng shui energy in the Oval Office moves in a circular direction around the room...causing cycles of behavior to exist. It is no wonder each president drops into the same patterns of achievement, struggle and war." 

Shurtleff says one can't go moving things around willy-nilly, however, without potentially disastrous effects. "A feng shui practitioner must research all the history of a place before she can touch any piece of decor. She must determine what is working and what is not. An interruption of good energy can cause problems with health, money, relationships, etc."

Shurtleff says that knowing the complicated history of a piece of furniture can create problems in prescribing the correct placement of it. "The HMS Resolute Desk was carved from the timbers of a British warship and given as a gift from Queen Victoria to President Rutherford B. Hayes. It has served 25 presidents. The desk holds negative energy in its walls and drawers not only of the warship from which it came, but also from every administration that has declared war upon another country.  It may need to be replaced before peace can manifest. On the other hand, would removing the desk from the Oval Office affect the power of the President? The Resolute desk was removed during the terms of Nixon, Johnson, and Ford, and none of them were powerful presidents-each served less than two terms."

Shurtleff would start her White House makeover with the furniture arrangement in the Oval Office. "The most serious problem is that the President has his back to the South window. This position may leave him vulnerable to attack. Metaphorically, it also says that he has his back to the world. It gives the impression that he is not interested in anything past his office. Wow, has the month flown by again!!!  A client wrote me and asked about the October aspects and as I looked at the calendar I was again stunned at how fast time is flying by this year. That darn #9 of fire energy in the center is responsible for all of us feeling as though our pants are on fire and we are not grounded and focused.  I want to remind you all that Uranus being is still in retrograde until December 1^st bringing unexpected news and developments.  Go back and read the July post for further info.

 

The month of October, will be a month of jockeying for position and power with the #6 of power and authority flying to the center of the Ba-gau. This may seem like a good thing for those who are wishing to be in control and feel more visible, however, it can also bring forth the sharpness of aggression for those who are already aggressive in nature. The combo of the annual #9 of fire and the #6 of yang metal can bring forth that clash of heat and metal. Think about metal and fire combo, it is hot and difficult to handle.

 

If you feel someone is using their power unwisely, place water in the center of the home or business or even their space to help the situation become cool, calm, and collected.  To enhance your position of power, place 6 Chinese Coins in the center of the home. You may also place the statues of the wealth God, Fuk, Luk, and Sau in the center of the home.

 

Also place anything in the center of the home that you wish to enhance and develop during this time, aka, a business, a promotions, etc. However, just a reminder, never try to control another person. This is seriously bad karma attracted to that. If you wish to reconcile a relationship use the Buddha, Kwan Yin, or peace objects, which bring in understanding, trust and peace. 

 

The monthly #7 of instability flies to the Northwest of the pig and dog and the patriarch of the family bringing ups and downs to the NW. The #7 could bring with it a weakening of the lung area.  Swine flu is prominent in the Northwest of the country and NW of the world. The pig, dog, and older man or father figure could be prone to health issues this month. Take precautions. Wash your hands, be careful where you eat, and use water to break down #7 aspect. 

 

Since the annual star of the  #1 of career resides in the NW this year, the #7 could threaten stability of career. Place more water in this space this month to rust the sharpness of backstabbing and cut throat behavior. Place a rooster in the NW to offset the bit of the #7. Place the blue rhino or blue elephant here to protect investments. No moving metal, such as wind chimes or whirly gigs in this area.

 

For conflict issues or lawsuits, write on a blue piece of paper, “ I pray for a quick resolution to all conflicts this month. I pray that all legal situations be solved to my highest good.” Place this blue paper in the NW under a bowl of WATER!!! 

 

Disclaimer: Don’t get caught up in the dire aspects. Use the appropriate elements to balance. That is what feng shui is about. Balancing out those areas, which fly out of balance through out the year.  If you ignore it or poo poo it you may be affected. Just place the adjustments, go about your business, and enjoy your life. Give it attention/no.  

 

The monthly #8 of money flies to the West of the Rooster bringing money luck, fortune and cause for celebration. Because of the annual #2 already in place the #8 forms a lucky sum of ten bringing money to the west facing home and the rooster. Enjoy and accept.    If your front door is located in this space, put the water outside your front door to the left of your door as you are looking outside. The Rooster may see promotions and increase in income this month. Everyone can benefit as well, from the placement of water and citrine stones in the west.   The illness star is weakened with the sum of ten combination.  Enjoy the west this month. It is your reprieve from the #2.

 

The #9 of fire moves to the North East of Tiger and Ox bringing with it an expansion of the #3 star of conflict. Use extra water to drown all aspects of wood and fire. Be careful of fire this month in the North East.  Be sure all annual cures for the #3 are in place. Water, water, water, to sooth those nerves. Remember conflict is not always bad. Conflict clears the air and channels a path of resolution to problems not addressed. We need conflict to move forward. When we get sick of being sick and tired is when change occurs. When our last nerve is shot is finally when the breakdown or breakthrough comes out. Get crazy mad if you have to. Say the big cuss words.  Act like a crazy wo/man. People will stop annoying you and stand back.

 

Getting angry every now and then is good. It is like a pressure cooker that releases the steam. Once the craziness is released, clear thinking is restored, and new decisions on your life path are made. This is why the #3 becomes so important in our life. The yin of it is the discomfort, but the yang is the forward movement from conflicting emotions and situations.  Accept it graciously and work toward the goal. Look forward, not back. Conflict with the #9 can promote a time of endings and new beginnings. Look for the possibilities and opportunities in all situations. The #3 will manifest one to set boundaries and stand up for their beliefs. If you don’t stand up for your beliefs no one will even know what they are.

 

The #1 of career flies to the South of the horse. The combo of the #1 of career with the literary success of the #4 annual star in the south, coupled with original  #9 of the ba-gua brings literary success and recognition to the horse and those in a South facing home. Place a red crystal in this area and 4 bamboos in water. No running water in this area this month, but small still water is okay. We don’t want to put out the fire of the fame but we still want to enhance the #4 and the #1. Balance is the key this month. 

 

The horse also holds the energy of the peach blossom of the South. If the Horse is your peach blossom, place the red horse and your animal deity in the South to activate the peach blossom of your animal for romance.  However, with this, be careful of extra marital affairs or pregnancy if your chart is in the sexual cycle. The sexual cycle will coincide with your menstrual cycle and ovulation, which makes your pheromones active. There is an attraction to the smell a woman will put off as she is ovulating which is unconsciously recognized by the male. It is the heat cycle like animals.  Since the monthly #4 this month is in the East of rabbit and family plus the eldest son, this month is ripe for pregnancy and extra marital affairs.  The man is very fertile this month. Think of how easily the rabbit reproduces. BE WARNED!!

 

The #2 of illness flies to the North where the Rat resides. The annual star of the #5 resides in this area. The #2 and #5 can wreak havoc on your health, finances, and relationship. This month. Again, SALTWATER, SALT WATER, SALT WATER.  Watch your health this month if your front door or bedroom is located in this area. Place the calabash, wu-luo, and/or a Kwan Yin by your bed. Place a salt line at your front door. Place salt water under your bed if it is in the North or  if you are a rat. Also place peacock feathers in the North of the home. Take all red out of this area this month. Lay low, take health precautions, and drink your Emer-Gen-C.  For money or relationship stability place heavy  metal statues or the metal pagoda to press down the heavy earth energy of the #2 and #5 combo.

 

The #3 of wood and conflict flies to the SW of the home. The SW ruled by the sheep, monkey, and mother may feel added stress and tension this month.  Place small amounts of red around the SW and place a Mandela or a red Buddha in the SW to promote peace. Place good lighting in this space to shed light on all topics of conflict. Remember, conflict is sometimes good to set boundaries and bump your from your rut. The annual #6 is in the power of the woman this year, so be sure to place your 6 Chinese Coins in the SW for the power and authority. The metal will chop the #3 wood and help with victory after compromise. There may be money windfall because of #6 can neutralize the #3 into good business dealing. The #3 can be a bad or good star depending upon its interaction with the other stars.

 

The #4 of literary success flies into the East this month bringing victory and celebration to family and the Rabbit. Place 4 Bamboo in this area. The conflict of the #4 wood and #7 metal could however cause a clash, so make sure water is in place to rust and weaken the #7 metal. The wood will also help dull the sharpness of the metal #7. Make sure all the annual #7 cures are in place for the year. The #7 is the number, which controls the lawsuits and legal issues. Use water and the color blue to weaken. For conflict issues or lawsuits, write on a blue piece of paper, “ I pray for a quick resolution to all conflicts this month. I pray that all legal situations be solved to my highest good.” Place this blue paper in the NW under a bowl of WATER!!!  Be sure to have your three killings adjustments of plants and water in place as well. This stays all year long.

 

 I wish to draw attention again to the fact that the rabbit or elder man is fertile and pregnancy or martial affairs in the East-facing house may be high. Be caution OR reckless—whichever scenario fits you!! : )

 

The #5 flies into South East of the Snake and Dragon. PLACE A FRESH-- SALT WATER CURE!!!!  If your front door faces the South East, place a salt line at the front door. Since this is the abundance area of the original ba-gua and the annual #8 resides in the area, we may see some instability slip into this area of our lives. This could cause delays in the contracts, business deals, and finances.  Postpone projects that seem to be struggling until next month.  Leave your #8 annual cures in place.

 

The wood energy controls the liver, limbs, muscles and tendons. We may see more anger arise from this financial upset. Be careful of too much physical activity, which may injure the muscles and tendons. We may see broken limbs this month. Take no risks with your arms and legs. Be smart and cautious. Place a salt water cure under your bed if your bed is in the SE or if you are a snake, dragon, or elder daughter.

 

Again, don’t panic. The influences will pass and all that is—will be. Remember, each experience is a learning lesson and discover what it is you are to learn. If it is suppose to happen it will. Until then, don’t sweat the small stuff. Focus on what it is you are to do and let God take care of the rest of the world. It is his job and not yours. Worry is like cigarette smoke. It stinks; it serves no purpose, and dissipates into the air when attention is directed away from it. So don’t bother with it. It is a waste of time. Live as if this is the best day of your life. What you focus upon, you will receive. Focus upon balance and harmony.
